Forgotten Tales – All The
Sinners
Forgotten Tales, was one of
the very first bands that sended to me their work back in 2001 (alongside
Bejelit if I remember correct). Back then the band released their debut album
with the title "The Promise". What a prophetic title... after three
years the band keeps this promise and release their
second album.
In the album "All the sinners", we have ten
songs from Forgotten Tales, if you read the song titles you will understand
that this album is somehow divided in two sections, the first six tracks which
is the main story "Pagan Chronicles" and the rest songs. You can
describe the music of Forgotten Tales, as power metal with some medieval
elements and female vocals. The influences from Rhapsody are also quite
obvious.
From their debut album I knew that this band had a
high level. All their songs are good and some of
them are really excellent. I can pick up : "Lady of
the forest", "All the sinners", "March of Freedom" and
"Three wishes" as the highlights of this release. I don't know if you
will find it in the music stores near you but
you can buy it through the website of the band, so don't hesitate to do it,
because Forgotten Tales deserves more. For sure I believe that the next step is
to find finally a big label to release their albums worldwide.
