Forgotten Tales – All The
Sinners
Forgotten Tales is a
band coming from Quebec, Canada. “All The Sinners” is the second album for the band and it
is released in Canada, Japan and Germany and their label is looking for distributors in the rest of the European
countries. The band consists of the following musicians: Patrick Vir on bass,
Cedric Prevost on drums, Martin Desharnais on guitars,
Frederick Desroches on keyboards and finally, Sonia Pineault on vocals. Their
music is based on the European power metal and you will find influences from
bands like Helloween, Stratovarius, Rhapsody, Heaven’s Gate, Nightwish
and others. The melodic guitars, the wonderful female vocals and the majestic
keyboards are their main characteristics. Their music may not differ very much
from the above-mentioned bands, but I think that they like what they are doing
and that’s why the final result is so good. Forgotten Tales are much
better than many European power metal bands because of their devotion and love
for the music. The production is also great and very clean and the artwork as
you can see is wonderful! I think that you will have a great time when
listening to this album and I believe that the distribution companies in Europe should be interested in the band! Finally, I must mention that Rene
Pineault (Sonia’s brother) is almost the sixth member of the band as he
is the producer (together with Martin Desharnais), does the choir vocals
together with the other members, has helped in the lyrics for one track and he
is the band’s manager…
