Forgotten
Tales – All The Sinners
Finally Forgotten tales are back with their new
album 'All the Sinners'. I really like 'The Promise' so I was expecting good
power metal and that's exactly what I got. Those songs are very melodic, Epic
and majestic as hell! The beautiful vocals of Sonia are again one of the
positive points on the records. The guitar work is strong and even if it may
look simple, some riff are well written and looks like
lead guitars! The solos are also well done! Some tracks like 'March for
freedom' are pure Epic Power Metal anthem! One their first record, the ballad
Far Away caught my attention and this time for those who like, you got 'Wind oh
wind' that have an amazing melodie. Pure beauty! Also the 9 minute track 'Three
wishes' is magic! I really like the flute and every aspects of this track. The
catchy chorus of 'fairytales' will definitly stick in your head! The only thing
that bugs me with the album is the production. Not that it sounds horrible (far
from that!), but for a band of this caliber, they needed a way better
production then that! More volume, a heavier guitar sounds,etc..They
need that for their next album! But don't get me wrong, this is an album filled
with amazing melodies that every power metal fans should like! A good comeback!
