Forgotten Tales - The Promise

The band was right; kinda think of it I don't recall any other melodic metal bands from their country playing in the likes of Helloween, Rhapsody and the other known euro power metal bands. I also like all the material I have received from this land, so far all the bands are really cool. Great work over there!!! Based on a great rhythm section and the enchanting voice of Sonia Pineault the band builds a very good album that will remind you a lot of Rhapsody and Dark Moor mostly. The fast guitar tunes are well dressed by the nice keyboard work. Everything on this CD sounds great! I also really liked their "clean" production that helps a lot the material to be shown! Especially some guitar parts really sound great! I know that many heavy metal maniacs out there don't really appreciate such material since it sounds to "soft" but they must agree that there's quality in it. I hope Forgotten Tales achieve their goals; Many bands with inferior material had succeeded many things. Thinking also that this is their first official album I strongly believe that we have many good things to see from the crazy Canadians!
